Why homeowners call

What film does for a home

Every house and every pane is different. Results depend on the film and the glass, and we’ll tell you straight what to expect.

Less glare

Water and snow throw a lot of light. Film calms the glare on TVs, screens and the kitchen table.

Slower fading

Film blocks most UV light, one cause of fading in floors, furniture, rugs and artwork.

Cooler sun rooms

Depending on the film, less solar heat in west- and south-facing rooms all afternoon.

Daytime privacy

Harder to see in during the day while you still see out. At night with lights on, people can see in.

The view kept

Clear and light films keep the lake in sight, with no blinds needed.

Any height

Ladders and scaffold for great-room and gable glass that runs to the ceiling.

Job one

Gray lake home

A great room with a tall gable: tinting from the ladder, the finished room, and the house from the patio and lawn.

Job two

White lake cottage

A gable window wall from scaffold, the finished glass, and the cottage from the street.

Will window film void my window warranty?

It can, depending on the window manufacturer and the film. Check your warranty, and we’ll go over films that suit your glass before we start.

Will it make my rooms dark?

That depends on the film. Light films cut glare and UV while keeping rooms bright and the view clear; darker films reduce more light. We help you pick the balance.

Can you reach tall or gable windows?

Yes. We use ladders and scaffolding for great-room and gable glass; you can see both in the photos on this page.

What do you need for a quote?

For a vehicle: year, make and model, and which windows. For a home or business: roughly how many windows, their sizes, and what you want to fix: glare, heat, fading or privacy. Photos help; text them or attach them to the quote form.

What warranty comes with the film?

Film warranties come from the film manufacturer and differ by product. Ask for the written terms for the film you’re considering before you decide.
